The SMC considers that just a little, dedicated team of volunteers may have an outsized effect on the mountain. These members usually do not work with the sqm club but volunteer their time and skills to help it realize its objectives.  The club's primary emphasis is to aid men and women and companies decrease their carbon footprint and positively
